Google has updated its mini filling machines to use plastic to fill their tea cups, after it discovered a problem with the technology.
The company has removed the plastic inserts from its MiniFill machines, but not before it discovered that a small plastic plug was sticking out of one of its machines.
“The new MiniFill is a much simpler product and works better, we’ve removed the plugs and have replaced the plastic insert, and we’ll have more updates in the coming days,” Google said.
“We are sorry to hear that you found the plug stuck, but we are now fixing the problem.”
In the meantime, the company is offering free replacement service for anyone who bought a MiniFill from any of its outlets.
